Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to get moving.
Let's Gonzo turns a live show into a friendly competition. Create or join a "show" with friends, and a live leaderboard tracks steps, calories, heart rate, and exercise minutes for everyone in it — pulled from your Apple Watch or iPhone.
No. An Apple Watch gives the most complete picture (including heart rate), but your iPhone alone tracks steps and calories using its built-in motion sensor — so you can join a show and compete with just your phone.
- Open Let's Gonzo and sign in.
- Tap "Got a code?" on the home screen.
- Enter the 6-character code the host shared with you.
- You're in — open the leaderboard to see live rankings once the show starts.
It's a synchronized moment the host can trigger during a show — everyone's phone (and paired Apple Watch, if you have one) lights up and buzzes at the same instant. A little shared spark for the whole group.
Open your iPhone's Settings app, scroll to Let's Gonzo, and confirm notifications are allowed. Then check inside the app under Settings → Notifications that the alerts you want (start reminders, position changes, results) are switched on.
Account & data
What we collect, and how to manage or remove it.
With your permission, we read activity data from Apple Health — steps, active calories, heart rate, and exercise minutes — only for the time window of a show you've joined. We never sell this data, and it's never shown to anyone outside the show you're in.
Only the people in the same show as you, and only for that show's leaderboard. Your raw health data is never visible to anyone else, including other users, and is never shared outside the app.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the app:
- Open Let's Gonzo and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
- Confirm by tapping Yes, delete everything.
